Gary Dalley, MD FACP

Dr. Gary Dalley is a board-certified internist with over 30 years of experience caring for adults with diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and a wide range of complex medical conditions. He earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina.

Dr. Dalley is recognized for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach, guiding individuals through the often confusing landscape of diagnostic testing and treatment options. While he values evidence-based guidelines, he believes the most effective care begins with a deep understanding of each patient’s unique needs, preferences, and life goals—ensuring every treatment plan is truly individualized. As a faculty member of the Northeast Georgia Internal Medicine teaching program and an associate professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Dalley is dedicated to mentoring medical students, resident physicians, and physician assistant students. He finds that teaching sharpens his clinical acumen and renews his passion for medicine.

Before pursuing a career in medicine, Dr. Dalley graduated from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis with a degree in Chemistry and served for five years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy. He is married with two adult children, who have challenged and refined his leadership and interpersonal skills throughout their upbringing, and who now provide him with the insight and perspective of the next generation. Outside of medicine, Dr. Dalley enjoys reading, sailing when he can, tackling DIY projects at home, and writing. While he dreams of returning to triathlon competition, he takes pride in his unbroken Peloton streak and continues to enjoy age-adjusted running and resistance training routines.
